Our biodegradable flutes do not decompose prematurely, our additive is only activated when it is in the presence of landfill microorganisms and enzymes, not on the shelf, during transportation or the usable life of the plastic product. This means that our products will only begin to biodegrade at the end of the usable product life, if the plastic product is not recycled first (EcoPure® treated products are also suitable for Kerb side recycling).
